most beautifull village of switzerland

A cozy retreat for unforgettable moments

About The Website
"A dedicated website for our cherished 1964 family chalet, showcases all its comforts and amenities, from its accommodating 8-guest capacity to its idyllic southeast exposure in the heart of Grimentz's serene landscapes."
A secret garden
Nestled on the sunny slope above the picturesque village of Grimentz, Switzerland, lies a beautiful alpine garden that feels like a private retreat. The space opens onto a spacious stone-paved terrace, framed by Alpine wildflowers. From here, your gaze sweeps across the rooftops of Grimentz with their historic wooden chalets and old raccards, blending centuries of tradition into the scenery. Beyond, the majestic Weishorn rises proudly in the distance, its snowy crown contrasting with the deep green of the surrounding larch forests. The terrace offers plenty of room for outdoor dining and lounging, with a dedicated barbecue corner perfect for summer evenings spent with family or friends. The garden itself is a mix of stone walls, flowering shrubs, and fragrant herbs, designed to harmonize with the natural alpine landscape. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee while listening to the sound of cowbells from the valley, or sipping wine at sunset as the peaks glow pink, this garden offers an atmosphere of serenity, tradition, and grandeur all at once.
Our living space
The At the heart of the living area stands a stone fireplace, crackling softly and casting a golden glow across the room. Around it, a cosy sitting corner invites relaxation: armchairs, a soft wool rug, and a bench with cushions create the perfect space to gather with family or friends. Traditional alpine touches make the space both authentic and welcoming.
The kitchen is well-equipped, blending rustic style with modern practicality. A wooden table serves both as a place to prepare hearty mountain meals and to share them. Behind it, you’ll find everything needed for comfort: quality appliances, ample counter space, and all the utensils to cook anything from a simple fondue to a festive dinner. Altogether, the chalet balances old-world charm with modern convenience – a retreat where you can enjoy mountain traditions without sacrificing comfort.
Our 4 sleepingrooms and bathroom
The bedrooms combine traditional Grimentz chalet warmth (lots of wood, cozy textiles) with modern comfort (luxurious bedding, heating, bathroom, lighting). The result: a place that feels both authentic and family-friendly.
Discover Our Chalet
From the chalet, the view is one of the most breathtaking, especially when your eyes travel toward the Weisshorn and the surrounding peaks. Standing on the sunny terras the valley opens wide to reveal a dramatic panorama of snow-capped giants. The Weisshorn (4,506 m) rises majestically in the distance, its elegant pyramid-like summit gleaming white against the deep blue sky. It is one of the most striking peaks in Switzerland, and from the chalet, you see its full, commanding profile. Closer by, you can also spot the Bishorn (4,153 m) and other Val d’Anniviers summits, their glaciers shimmering in the sunlight. In summer, the slopes below are covered in green alpine pastures dotted with wildflowers; in winter, the mountains are a pure, untouched blanket of snow. From the Hotel Weisshorn, perched high above St-Luc on the opposite side of the valley, the perspective is just as magical but reversed: you gaze down into the Val d’Anniviers with Grimentz nestled like a toy village below, and behind it, the Weisshorn and its glacial neighbors dominate the horizon.Whether at sunrise, when the peaks glow pink and gold with alpenglow, or at night, when the Milky Way stretches above the silhouette of the Weisshorn, the view from teh chalet toward the Hotel Weisshorn and the Weisshorn massif is nothing short of sublime and timeless — a true Alpine postcard come to life.
