The area has varied skiing from open pistes to forest runs and steep blacks to easy blues, along with the attraction of the extensive off piste for experts. There is a great snow park at 2500m in Grimentz and additionally one in Zinal. The lift system is modern with Gondolas, Cable cars, a funicular in St Luc and fast six man chairlifts. In all there are 220km of pistes, with 44 lifts in the Val d’Anniviers. In addition there are 35Km of cross country skiing trails, 120km of snowshoe trails, 110km of winter hiking trails, 15km of tobbogan runs, 4 snowparks and 11 mountain restaurants.
